Sick Gourami

I'm a bit down a the moment, because my lovely Dwarf Gourami is a bit sick. He's been acting very withdrawn, so I decided to take a closer look at him, and it turns out his tail fin is in bad shape.

It's almost like it's been eaten away by something, and a closer inspection reveals a white fluffy line across the tail, which, after some forum questions, people have described as 'Fin Rot'.

So I've been down to my LAS (Local Aquarium Store) and talked to the staff there, and ended up spending a bit of money. I'm moving him to a hospital tank you see, and that means buying a tank, getting it setup, and then moving the fish ready to begin medicating him.

I'll be treating him with Fungus-Ade, which was recommended to me over the treaments suggested online. I'll document his progress and we'll see if it does the trick.
