New Fish at Last
After an extended period without refreshing my fish stocks, I decided today to give each tank a small population boost.
The original tank, as seen on Fish-Cam, had lost a couple of Neon's and the snail population is getting out of control. So I've brought back a small Clown Loach. I know these guys like a party, but I am planning a bigger tank at the moment which will be perfect fro Clowns, and I have put two more clowns in the other tank.
That's right, my seco...

Clown Loach Dies

I'm sad to say that this morning I found my Clown Loach dead on the floor near the tank.
At some point in the night he must have jumped out of the water, possibly at the gap in the glass top where the f...

Hospital Tank
It looks like my Gourami has 'Fin Rot' so instead of treating him in the main tank I have gone shopping and bought another tank, and all the kit needed to setup a hopital tank.

Sick Gourami

It's almost like it's been eaten away by something, and a closer inspection reveals a white fluffy line across the tail, which, after some forum questions, people have desc...

Rocks or Plastic?
It's been an ongoing dilema for me. I love the idea of a kitch tank with sunken treasure chests and easter island statues, but since I started my tank it's gradually moved away from that into a more 'natural' look.
Gone is the fighter plane, even though it was admired widely, gone are the fake hairgrass plants, and finally, gone is the fake log which my clown loach found refuge in.
So what are your thoughts? Rocks or Plastic?

New Rocks & Plants
If you have visited the tank before you may have noticed a few changes in the scenery. Not content with the impulse bought fighter plane ornament and fake log I have bought soem 'Woomera Rock'. This fantastically interesting and unique looking rock adds a lot sof character to the tank, and hopefully provides some structure for future plants to grow on.
I've also added a few new plants!
